I am delighted to introduce my new home for handcrafted artisan gemstone jewellery, where every piece is created with intention, craftsmanship, and an appreciation for the natural beauty of exceptional gemstones.

I’m Rachel Hartley, founder and jewellery designer of Rachel Hartley Atelier. With years of experience studying and working with the healing properties and energy of crystals, my knowledge of gemstone selection extends beyond aesthetics. Each stone is chosen not only for its beauty and individuality, but also for the qualities it is believed to embody.

Every design begins with the gemstone. I work with carefully selected stones, combining them with sterling silver, gold vermeil, and copper to create jewellery that is both timeless and deeply personal.

Each piece is handcrafted in my studio with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every creation reflects the care, skill, and intention invested in its making. This is not mass-produced jewellery. It is created slowly, one piece at a time, for those who value authenticity, craftsmanship, and meaningful design.

Blue Topaz has a clarity to it that is immediately calming. A cool, luminous blue somewhere between a clear sky and the stillness of open water, it is a stone that brings a sense of ease and openness wherever it is worn. This pendant necklace features a triangular shaped, faceted Blue Topaz stone of 4 to 6 carats, its geometric form and faceted surfaces working together to draw out the stone's natural brilliance and depth of colour, set in sterling silver and suspended from an 18-inch flat cable chain, also in sterling silver.

Topaz is a silicate mineral prized for its exceptional clarity and brilliance. At 4 to 6 carats, this stone has a presence that is quietly commanding, substantial enough to catch the light beautifully, refined enough to wear from morning to evening without a second thought. Each piece is individually selected for the evenness and intensity of its colour.
