I’m Rachel Hartley, founder and jewellery designer of Rachel Hartley Atelier. With years of experience studying and working with the healing properties and energy of crystals, my knowledge of gemstone selection extends beyond aesthetics. Each stone is chosen not only for its beauty and individuality, but also for the qualities it is believed to embody.

Every design begins with the gemstone. I work with carefully selected stones, combining them with sterling silver, gold vermeil, and copper to create jewellery that is both timeless and deeply personal.

Each piece is handcrafted in my studio with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every creation reflects the care, skill, and intention invested in its making. This is not mass-produced jewellery. It is created slowly, one piece at a time, for those who value authenticity, craftsmanship, and meaningful design.

Amethyst

One of the most cherished gemstones in the world, Amethyst has been prized for centuries for its stunning violet hues and its deeply calming energy. Found in Brazil, Uruguay, Zambia and beyond, it ranges from the palest lilac to the richest royal purple, each stone entirely its own.

At Rachel Hartley Atelier, each Amethyst piece is selected for the depth and clarity of its colour, hand-set in and crafted to be worn as an everyday treasure or a meaningful gift.

Associated with the Crown and Third Eye chakras, Amethyst is said to promote calm, clarity and spiritual awareness, making it as powerful as it is beautiful.
