I am delighted to introduce my new home for handcrafted artisan gemstone jewellery, where every piece is created with intention, craftsmanship, and an appreciation for the natural beauty of exceptional gemstones.

I’m Rachel Hartley, founder and jewellery designer of Rachel Hartley Atelier. With years of experience studying and working with the healing properties and energy of crystals, my knowledge of gemstone selection extends beyond aesthetics. Each stone is chosen not only for its beauty and individuality, but also for the qualities it is believed to embody.

Every design begins with the gemstone. I work with carefully selected stones, combining them with sterling silver, gold vermeil, and copper to create jewellery that is both timeless and deeply personal.

Each piece is handcrafted in my studio with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every creation reflects the care, skill, and intention invested in its making. This is not mass-produced jewellery. It is created slowly, one piece at a time, for those who value authenticity, craftsmanship, and meaningful design.

This handmade Dream Amethyst ring, also known as Chevron Amethyst, features a single distinctive stone with natural bands of clear quartz and purple amethyst.

The stone is carefully wrapped and secured with layers of sterling silver wire. The wire flows directly from the crystal into the ring’s band, forming the band itself in a continuous, sculptural design rather than sitting on a separate mount. The ring is made to size M.

Dream Amethyst brings together the clear, luminous quality of quartz with the rich violet tones of amethyst. In crystal traditions, clear quartz is often associated with clarity, focus and the amplification of intention, while purple amethyst is traditionally linked with calm, intuition, spiritual awareness and gentle protection.
