I’m Rachel Hartley, founder and jewellery designer of Rachel Hartley Atelier. With years of experience studying and working with the healing properties and energy of crystals, my knowledge of gemstone selection extends beyond aesthetics. Each stone is chosen not only for its beauty and individuality, but also for the qualities it is believed to embody.

Every design begins with the gemstone. I work with carefully selected stones, combining them with sterling silver, gold vermeil, and copper to create jewellery that is both timeless and deeply personal.

Each piece is handcrafted in my studio with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every creation reflects the care, skill, and intention invested in its making. This is not mass-produced jewellery. It is created slowly, one piece at a time, for those who value authenticity, craftsmanship, and meaningful design.

Five oval cut gemstones, each chosen for their distinct energy and colour, set in sterling silver drop earrings that wear as beautifully as they resonate.

Garnet, Amethyst, Swiss Blue Topaz, Peridot, and Citrine, a considered collection of stones that together span the full spectrum of healing intention.

Garnet is a stone of passion, vitality, and grounded energy. Deep red and richly lustrous, it is associated with courage, commitment, and the rekindling of inner fire, a stone that energises and inspires.

Amethyst brings calm, clarity, and spiritual awareness. Its violet hues are associated with peace of mind, restful sleep, and the quieting of an overactive mind, one of the most beloved and versatile healing stones available.

Swiss Blue Topaz is a stone of clear, open communication and emotional calm. Brighter and more vivid than London Blue, it works with the throat chakra to encourage honest expression, ease tension, and bring a sense of lightness and clarity to the mind.

Peridot is a stone of renewal, positivity, and purpose. Its bright olive-green hue carries the energy of fresh starts, associated with the release of negative patterns, the strengthening of self-worth, and a grounded optimism that supports forward movement.

Citrine is known as the stone of abundance and manifestation, warm, golden, and carrying the energy of the sun. It is associated with positivity, confidence, and attracting prosperity, encouraging the wearer to embrace their own potential with optimism and clarity. Please note that some Citrine is heat-treated Amethyst, a common and widely accepted practice in the gemstone trade that deepens and enriches the golden colour; this does not affect the stone's beauty or its energetic properties.
