I’m Rachel Hartley, founder and jewellery designer of Rachel Hartley Atelier. With years of experience studying and working with the healing properties and energy of crystals, my knowledge of gemstone selection extends beyond aesthetics. Each stone is chosen not only for its beauty and individuality, but also for the qualities it is believed to embody.

Every design begins with the gemstone. I work with carefully selected stones, combining them with sterling silver, gold vermeil, and copper to create jewellery that is both timeless and deeply personal.

Each piece is handcrafted in my studio with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every creation reflects the care, skill, and intention invested in its making. This is not mass-produced jewellery. It is created slowly, one piece at a time, for those who value authenticity, craftsmanship, and meaningful design.

Amazonite is a variety of feldspar, its distinctive blue-green colour the result of lead and water present during crystallisation. Found across Brazil, Russia, Madagascar, and the United States, it has been used as a stone of courage and truth for thousands of years.  Amazonite was among the gemstones found in Tutankhamun’s tomb, and has been worn as a talisman across cultures and centuries.

Amazonite works with both the heart and throat chakras, sitting at the meeting point between feeling and expression. It is said to help those who find it difficult to speak their truth, to articulate what they feel with clarity and without fear. It carries a soothing, balancing energy that is thought to calm anxiety, ease emotional trauma, and dispel negative energy. It is associated with hope, authenticity, and the courage to set clear boundaries. A stone that encourages you to live and speak in alignment with what you actually believe.

This bracelet features a polished amazonite heart charm alongside a sterling silver heart accent charm, both suspended on a delicate sterling silver heart chain. The heart is a considered choice here, a stone associated with the heart chakra, shaped into a heart, on a chain of hearts. Each element reinforces the same intention: openness, courage, and love that begins with honesty.

The polished finish brings out the full depth of the amazonite’s blue-green colour, and the sterling silver setting keeps the piece clean and wearable, the kind of bracelet that sits quietly on the wrist and means something to the person wearing it. The chain measures 7.5 inches, a standard bracelet length that fits most wrists comfortably.
