I’m Rachel Hartley, founder and jewellery designer of Rachel Hartley Atelier. With years of experience studying and working with the healing properties and energy of crystals, my knowledge of gemstone selection extends beyond aesthetics. Each stone is chosen not only for its beauty and individuality, but also for the qualities it is believed to embody.

Every design begins with the gemstone. I work with carefully selected stones, combining them with sterling silver, gold vermeil, and copper to create jewellery that is both timeless and deeply personal.

Each piece is handcrafted in my studio with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every creation reflects the care, skill, and intention invested in its making. This is not mass-produced jewellery. It is created slowly, one piece at a time, for those who value authenticity, craftsmanship, and meaningful design.

A bold, grounding bracelet for the modern man. This stretch bracelet brings together three powerful dark stones; Hematite, Larvikite, and Black Obsidian, in a subtle graduation of bead size that adds quiet visual depth and a considered, tailored feel.

Hematite is one of the most grounding stones in the mineral kingdom, with a dense, metallic lustre that reflects its iron-rich composition. It is associated with strength, focus, and protection, believed to absorb negative energy and support mental clarity and confidence. A powerful stone for those who need to feel anchored and present.

Larvikite is a striking Norwegian feldspar, prized for its deep grey-black surface and distinctive silver-blue flash. In healing traditions it is regarded as a stone of patience and inner wisdom, thought to stimulate the intellect, enhance adaptability, and help process information with greater clarity. No two beads are alike, giving each bracelet its own character.

Black Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass, formed when lava cools rapidly. It is one of the most protective stones available, used across cultures for centuries to shield against negativity, reveal truth, and support deep emotional healing. Its surface is intensely dark and reflective, adding a raw, elemental quality to the bracelet.

The slight graduation in bead size across the bracelet creates a subtle, structured aesthetic, a detail that sets this piece apart from standard stretch bracelets and gives it a more refined, intentional finish.
