Amethyst, kunzite, and strawberry quartz are three stones that exist in the same register of colour; pink to violet, warm to cool, and yet each one carries a completely different quality of light. Together they form a drop that shifts as it moves, catching the eye without demanding it.
Amethyst opens with depth. A variety of quartz coloured by iron and natural irradiation over millions of years, it's violet hue has long been associated with wisdom, spiritual clarity, and the quieting of an overactive mind. It works with the crown and third eye chakras, encouraging perspective and inner stillness, a stone for those who think too much and rest too little.
Kunzite brings a softer, more open energy. A variety of spodumene coloured by trace manganese, it ranges from pale blush to a warm, saturated pink, and is one of the few stones whose colour deepens with exposure to light over time. It is associated with the heart chakra and with the kind of love that is unconditional and unhurried, for others, and for oneself. A stone of emotional openness, of allowing feeling to move freely again.
Strawberry quartz completes the drop with warmth and joy. A variety of quartz with inclusions of iron oxide that give it its characteristic rosy, luminous tone, it is associated with the heart chakra and with the amplification of intentions rooted in love, gratitude, and a conscious appreciation of what is already present.
Copper is one of the oldest metals in human use, and one of the oldest in healing practice. It is considered a conductor of electricity, of warmth, and in crystal tradition, of energy itself, believed to amplify the properties of the stones it accompanies and support the smooth flow of energy through the body. Here, micro copper beads have been chosen deliberately. Their natural warm, rosy tone sits in close harmony with the rose gold vermeil earwires, creating a cohesive, considered palette while keeping the piece accessible. The two metals complement each other without competing.
Each drop suspends three faceted gemstone beads; amethyst, kunzite, and strawberry quartz, separated by micro copper beads, from a rose gold vermeil V-shaped earwire; sterling silver with a layer of 18-karat rose gold.
