I’m Rachel Hartley, founder and jewellery designer of Rachel Hartley Atelier. With years of experience studying and working with the healing properties and energy of crystals, my knowledge of gemstone selection extends beyond aesthetics. Each stone is chosen not only for its beauty and individuality, but also for the qualities it is believed to embody.

Every design begins with the gemstone. I work with carefully selected stones, combining them with sterling silver, gold vermeil, and copper to create jewellery that is both timeless and deeply personal.

Each piece is handcrafted in my studio with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every creation reflects the care, skill, and intention invested in its making. This is not mass-produced jewellery. It is created slowly, one piece at a time, for those who value authenticity, craftsmanship, and meaningful design.

There are bracelets made to be noticed, and bracelets made to be felt. This one belongs to the second kind.

Amethyst opens the piece with its deep, familiar calm. A variety of quartz coloured by iron and natural irradiation over millions of years, it has been prized since antiquity for its ability to quiet an overactive mind. It works with the crown and third eye chakras, encouraging clarity, stillness, and a gentle loosening of anxiety's grip.

Lepidolite sits beside it as a natural companion. Rich in lithium, the same element used in modern mood-stabilising medicine. It is one of the few stones with a direct mineral connection to emotional balance. It eases the nervous system, softens transitions, and brings a steadiness that feels less like suppression and more like ground beneath your feet.

Angelite deepens the quiet further. Formed from celestite compressed over millions of years, it carries a soft, cool energy associated with higher awareness, inner peace, and the kind of stillness that is difficult to manufacture and easy to lose. It is a stone for slowing down, for listening, for coming back to yourself.

Shell pearl completes the blend with a different kind of softness, luminous, organic, and deeply feminine. Long associated with intuition, emotional wisdom, and the rhythms of water, it brings a gentle iridescence to the bracelet that catches the light as you move. Where the crystals work inward, the shell pearl radiates outward, giving the piece a quiet beauty that is entirely its own.

Together, these four materials form a bracelet designed for emotional ease, for the days when the world feels too loud, or the mind too full, or rest feels just out of reach.

Strung on stretch cord with 6mm gemstone beads, it is made to fit the average UK wrist size of 6.5 inches, easy to wear, and comfortable to keep on.
