I am delighted to introduce my new home for handcrafted artisan gemstone jewellery, where every piece is created with intention, craftsmanship, and an appreciation for the natural beauty of exceptional gemstones.

I’m Rachel Hartley, founder and jewellery designer of Rachel Hartley Atelier. With years of experience studying and working with the healing properties and energy of crystals, my knowledge of gemstone selection extends beyond aesthetics. Each stone is chosen not only for its beauty and individuality, but also for the qualities it is believed to embody.

Every design begins with the gemstone. I work with carefully selected stones, combining them with sterling silver, gold vermeil, and copper to create jewellery that is both timeless and deeply personal.

Each piece is handcrafted in my studio with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every creation reflects the care, skill, and intention invested in its making. This is not mass-produced jewellery. It is created slowly, one piece at a time, for those who value authenticity, craftsmanship, and meaningful design.

Exhibiting intricate artistry, these stunning drop earrings feature a delicate hand-woven openwork lattice created from genuine Black Spinel gemstones. Each faceted bead is meticulously structured into a repeating geometric pattern that forms an elegant teardrop silhouette.

The intense ink-black brilliance of the Black Spinel captures and reflects light dynamically from every angle, providing a striking contrast to the Sterling Silver fishhook ear wires.  Striking the perfect balance between modern elegance and vintage-inspired lace design, these lightweight statement earrings add a sophisticated touch of dramatic sparkle to both evening ensembles and elevated daytime attire.

Each hand-woven Black Spinel teardrop measures 25mm × 40mm, excluding the ear wire.
