I’m Rachel Hartley, founder and jewellery designer of Rachel Hartley Atelier. With years of experience studying and working with the healing properties and energy of crystals, my knowledge of gemstone selection extends beyond aesthetics. Each stone is chosen not only for its beauty and individuality, but also for the qualities it is believed to embody.

Every design begins with the gemstone. I work with carefully selected stones, combining them with sterling silver, gold vermeil, and copper to create jewellery that is both timeless and deeply personal.

Each piece is handcrafted in my studio with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every creation reflects the care, skill, and intention invested in its making. This is not mass-produced jewellery. It is created slowly, one piece at a time, for those who value authenticity, craftsmanship, and meaningful design.

The stone is wire-wrapped by hand in sterling silver, the setting following the natural contours of the carving and holding it securely while allowing its full face to remain visible. A single sterling silver accent bead sits at the face of the moon, a small, precise detail that brings a cool stillness to the piece without interrupting the stone.

Hung from an 18 inch sterling silver fine curb chain, this necklace sits beautifully at the collarbone, cool, considered, and quietly luminous.
