I’m Rachel Hartley, founder and jewellery designer of Rachel Hartley Atelier. With years of experience studying and working with the healing properties and energy of crystals, my knowledge of gemstone selection extends beyond aesthetics. Each stone is chosen not only for its beauty and individuality, but also for the qualities it is believed to embody.

Every design begins with the gemstone. I work with carefully selected stones, combining them with sterling silver, gold vermeil, and copper to create jewellery that is both timeless and deeply personal.

Each piece is handcrafted in my studio with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every creation reflects the care, skill, and intention invested in its making. This is not mass-produced jewellery. It is created slowly, one piece at a time, for those who value authenticity, craftsmanship, and meaningful design.

These earrings bring that symbolism into something you can wear every day. A blue lace agate moon charm and a sterling silver star bead charm are suspended together from a sterling silver round earwire, moving gently with the wearer and catching the light in the way that only handcrafted pieces do.

Blue lace agate is one of the most serene stones in the mineral world. Its colour is a soft, layered blue that ranges from the palest sky to a deeper cornflower. Fine banding forms as the stone grows, each layer a record of time and pressure. It is a stone associated with calm, clear communication, and the ability to speak and think with gentleness and precision. For those drawn to its energy, blue lace agate is regarded as a stone that soothes an overactive mind and encourages a measured, considered approach to the world.
