I’m Rachel Hartley, founder and jewellery designer of Rachel Hartley Atelier. With years of experience studying and working with the healing properties and energy of crystals, my knowledge of gemstone selection extends beyond aesthetics. Each stone is chosen not only for its beauty and individuality, but also for the qualities it is believed to embody.

Every design begins with the gemstone. I work with carefully selected stones, combining them with sterling silver, gold vermeil, and copper to create jewellery that is both timeless and deeply personal.

Each piece is handcrafted in my studio with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every creation reflects the care, skill, and intention invested in its making. This is not mass-produced jewellery. It is created slowly, one piece at a time, for those who value authenticity, craftsmanship, and meaningful design.

Some stones are chosen for how they look. Others for what they carry. This bracelet was made with the second kind in mind.

Pink tourmaline opens the piece with a gentle warmth, a stone long associated with compassion, emotional healing, and the kind of love that begins with oneself. Beside it, lepidolite works quietly and persistently. Rich in natural lithium, it is one of the few stones with a direct mineral connection to calm, easing anxiety and supporting the nervous system in a way that feels less like metaphor and more like chemistry.

Blue lace agate brings a lightness to the blend, pale, banded, and airy in both appearance and energy. It is a stone of peaceful communication and mental clarity, the kind that makes it easier to speak slowly and think clearly. Angelite deepens the stillness further, connecting the wearer to a sense of higher awareness and quiet serenity that is difficult to manufacture and easy to lose.

Selenite anchors the bracelet. Luminous and purifying, it is one of the few stones said to cleanse those around it, holding the energy of the whole piece in a state of clarity and light.

Together, these five stones form a considered synergy, each one amplifying the next, designed for moments of overwhelm, rest, or quiet reflection. The bracelet is finished with warm copper bead accents.

Copper has been used for its healing properties for thousands of years, believed to conduct and amplify energy, ease inflammation, and support the body's natural flow. Here, it acts as both a grounding presence and a quiet conductor, drawing the calming properties of the stones together and holding them close to the skin.

Strung on stretch cord with 6mm gemstone beads, it is made to fit the average UK wrist size of 6.5 inches, easy to wear, and comfortable to keep on.
